Splendid Spoon's New Program 2.0

You guys know how much I love Splendid Spoon soup cleanses. So when they announced their brand new breakfast smoothie collection, I had to try it. Below, please find my reviews, mixed with some info from SS.

WHY I LOVED IT: 

For Day 1 of my breakfast smoothies, I chose the Blueberry Coconut Smoothie. It is so smooth and yummy, but the BEST part is the small hint of cinnamon. The smell of the smoothie is amazing. I felt so healthy drinking it! It's also SUPER hydrating thanks to the infusion of coconut water, yet it's still pretty low in sugar! So you get all the benefits but none of the calories. TONS of protein (12g) in this one.

The Cacao Almond Smoothie was my second favorite! Great chocolate taste, with crunchy cacao and almond, and yummy dates thrown in as a surprise. This felt like the most filling of all the breakfast smoothies. It features 10g protein, including pea protein!

The Almond Kale Smoothie was a sweet surprise. I'm one of those health bloggers who is secretly scared of some kale products, mostly because of the bitter taste kale can produce. At first sip, I was pleasantly surprised! It was sweet, thanks to the organic banana and vanilla beans. 

Lastly, the hearty breakfast bowl was delicious, but that's to be expected with any bowl from Splendid Spoon! As a yogi, this new breakfast program gave a new light to the beginning of my day. I like easy options when it comes to breakfast, and unfortunately, in NYC, the easier option is usually a coffee and bagel. Now, with these fully prepared breakfast smoothies in my fridge, it's grab-and-go to yoga class or work, and I start my day with nutrients instead of empty carbs!
