How to Detox after Art Basel
Every December, thousands of visitors flock to Miami, Florida for Art Basel, an exhibit of Modern and contemporary art from 269 leading galleries from North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia and Africa. The works range from paintings and sculptures to performances and films, and highlights from this year's exhibit included "Ground Control," a tribute to David Bowie in which artists utilized Collins Park to imagine and invent new kinds of space. Crowds were awed by the transformational Opening Night experience that set stage for the nights to follow.
As with most events in Miami, Art Basel turned into a party that didn't end when the galleries closed for the evening. Many guests enjoyed late nights of dancing and drinking amongst the glittering stars, and like clockwork, with little sleep, they pulled themselves up in the morning to peruse the collections each morning.
If you're a health-nut like I am, a detox is especially important after a weekend of partying, so here's how I got back into shape whilst still in Miami.

3. A healthy brunch at The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club
If you're looking to get out of Miami for a few days, be sure to visit this club. Founded in 1946 and nestled on 125 tropical acres along the Gulf of Mexico, The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club is Southwest Florida’s only beachfront hotel with onsite tennis and spa. Guests are offered clear, beautiful views of the golf course as they enjoy lunch on the patio at Broadwell's, which overlooks the serene lily pond and meticulously-maintained greenery. Highlights of the buffet brunch include fresh fruit, blueberry blintzes, and egg white frittata with avocado.
